Welcome to EzSolve! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the EzSolve mobile application and services. By downloading, installing, or using EzSolve, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our app.

1. About EzSolve

  • EzSolve is an AI-powered mobile application that helps users solve homework problems through advanced artificial intelligence technology.
  • The app allows users to scan, upload, or input homework problems for solving using our proprietary AI engine and external AI services.
  • EzSolve is owned and operated by PureSoft Labs OÜ, a company registered in Estonia, European Union.
  • Our services are designed to assist with academic learning and problem-solving for educational purposes.

2. Acceptance of Terms

  • By accessing or using EzSolve, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
  • These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PureSoft Labs OÜ.
  • If you are under 18 years old, you must have parental or guardian consent to use EzSolve.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for monitoring and supervising their children's use of the app.

3. User Eligibility and Age Requirements

  • EzSolve is available to users of all ages, including children under 13, with appropriate parental supervision.
  • Users under 18 must obtain parental or guardian permission before using the app or making any purchases.
  • Parents and guardians are responsible for their children's use of EzSolve and any associated charges.
  • We recommend parental guidance for children using AI-powered educational tools.

4. License to Use

Grant of License

  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use EzSolve for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.
  • This license is subject to your compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
  • The license does not grant you any ownership rights in the app or its content.

Restrictions

  • You may not modify, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, or create derivative works from EzSolve.
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app or attempt to extract source code.
  • You may not use EzSolve for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.
  • You may not interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or our servers.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription Services

  • EzSolve offers premium features through subscription plans managed by RevenueCat and processed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings.

Pricing and Payment

  • Subscription prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region.
  • All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their respective terms and policies.
  • We reserve the right to change subscription prices with advance notice as permitted by app store policies.
  • Any price changes will not affect existing subscribers until their next renewal period.

Refunds

  • Refund requests are subject to the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Contact Apple or Google directly for refund requests, as we do not process refunds directly.
  • In exceptional circumstances, you may contact us for assistance with refund-related issues.

6. AI Services and Content

AI-Powered Solutions

  • EzSolve uses advanced AI technology, including our proprietary algorithms and external services from OpenAI and Anthropic, to solve homework problems.
  • AI-generated solutions are provided for educational assistance and may not always be 100% accurate.
  • You should verify important calculations and not rely solely on AI-generated results for critical applications.
  • We continuously improve our AI capabilities but cannot guarantee perfect accuracy for all problems.

User-Generated Content

  • You retain ownership of homework problems you input, scan, or upload to EzSolve.
  • By using our services, you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process your academic content for the sole purpose of providing solutions.
  • We do not store or retain your homework problems after processing, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you submit to EzSolve.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Uses

  • Use EzSolve for personal educational purposes and legitimate homework problem-solving.
  • Scan, upload, or input original homework problems or problems you have permission to use.
  • Use AI-generated solutions as learning aids and educational assistance.

Prohibited Uses

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or circumvent our AI systems or security measures.
  • Use the app for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized commercial purposes.
  • Submit inappropriate, offensive, or non-academic content.
  • Attempt to overload or abuse our services through excessive or automated requests.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

  • EzSolve, including its design, features, algorithms, and proprietary AI technology, is owned by PureSoft Labs OÜ and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • All trademarks, service marks, and logos used in connection with EzSolve are our property or licensed to us.
  • You may not use our intellectual property without explicit written permission.
  • Third-party services (OpenAI, Anthropic, RevenueCat) retain their respective intellectual property rights.
  • Any feedback or suggestions you provide about EzSolve may be used by us without compensation or attribution.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
  • We process homework problems temporarily to provide solutions and do not store your problem content.
  • Camera and photo access is only used for scanning homework problems and requires your explicit permission.
  • We comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR for EU users.
  • Any changes to our privacy practices will be communicated through updates to our Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services

  • EzSolve integrates with third-party services including Apple App Store, Google Play Store, RevenueCat, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
  • Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
  • We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or performance of third-party services.
  • Any issues with third-party services should be addressed directly with the respective providers.
  • We may change or discontinue third-party integrations with reasonable notice.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • EzSolve is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components.
  • AI-generated academic solutions are provided for educational assistance and may contain errors.
  • We disclaim all warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Your use of EzSolve is at your own risk, and you should verify all solutions independently.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, PureSoft Labs OÜ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of EzSolve.
  • Our total liability to you for all claims related to EzSolve shall not exceed the amount you paid for subscriptions in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for any damages caused by your reliance on AI-generated solutions or academic calculations.
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PureSoft Labs OÜ from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of EzSolve.
  • This includes claims related to your violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, or misuse of our services.
  • We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification by you.
  • Your indemnification obligations will survive termination of these Terms.

14. Termination

Termination by You

  • You may stop using EzSolve at any time by uninstalling the app from your device.
  • Subscription cancellations must be processed through your device's app store settings.
  • Termination does not entitle you to refunds for unused subscription periods except as required by law.

Termination by Us

  • We may suspend or terminate your access to EzSolve if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.
  • We may discontinue EzSolve or specific features with reasonable advance notice.
  • In case of termination for cause, you are not entitled to refunds for unused subscription periods.

15. App Store Compliance

Apple App Store

  • If you downloaded EzSolve from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and PureSoft Labs OÜ, not Apple.
  • Apple is not responsible for EzSolve or any claims, losses, or damages related to its use.
  • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
  • In case of conflicts between these Terms and Apple's Usage Rules, Apple's rules take precedence.

Google Play Store

  • If you downloaded EzSolve from Google Play Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and PureSoft Labs OÜ, not Google.
  • Google is not responsible for EzSolve or any claims, losses, or damages related to its use.
  • You must comply with Google Play's Terms of Service when using EzSolve.
  • Google may enforce these Terms as a third-party beneficiary where applicable.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of EzSolve shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Estonia.
  • For EU users, you retain the right to bring proceedings in your local courts as provided by EU consumer protection laws.
  • You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against us.
  • If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

17. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements.
  • We will notify you of significant changes through the app or app store update notifications.
  • Changes become effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms.
  • Your continued use of EzSolve after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
  • If you do not agree to modified Terms, you must stop using EzSolve and may cancel your subscription.

18. General Provisions

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PureSoft Labs OÜ regarding EzSolve.
  • No waiver of any term will be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
  • If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
  • These Terms may not be assigned by you but may be assigned by us without restriction.
  • Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation of these Terms.
